Vintage Moldovan Terracotta Vessel 723-003

A vintage terracotta vessel from Moldova is a handmade clay pot with a simple, rustic charm. These vessels can have two handles, a single handle, or no handles at all, depending on how they were meant to be used or displayed. The clay is fired to an ashen, grayish tone and has a textured surface you can feel under your fingers, often showing small irregularities from the firing process and the maker’s hand. This gives each vessel a unique, aged character and makes it feel like a real piece of everyday history from the region.
