From the Atlas mountains of Morocco, the Berber people have been making these unique vessels for applications in their daily lives. This particular pot was a water jar. The terra cotta was fired so that the pot would leach or sweat; thus cooling the pot. Leaving cooler drinkable water available. We've taken these jars and modernized them with our custom in-house finish. No two are alike and it makes for a vessel that can truly be displayed as art.
