The Elephant with its trunk up is very significant in many cultures. In Feng Shui they are believed to bring protection to a home, a mother and child following are a symbol of their bond, amongst many other things. This hand made elephant is first made by carvers from wood. Then meticulously wrapped in hand stamped brass. It’s very intricate work and the piece has enough age that some parts of the metal are starting to turn verde from oxidation leaving behind a beautiful patina.
